I am a dynamic statewide leader and executive advisor with more than 20 years of experience driving impact at the intersection of education, workforce development, and government policy. My career has been defined by a passion for creating joyful, beneficial learning opportunities that spark curiosity and unlock economic mobility for everyone.

Proven Track Record

Before consulting independently, I served in high-profile executive and advisory roles across the educational landscape:

• Statewide STEM Leadership: As the Virginia Statewide STEM Coordinator, I co-chaired the Governor’s STEM Education Commission, authored its final policy report, and launched regional STEM Ecosystems to unite isolated efforts across the Commonwealth.
• Executive & Museum Leadership: I have directed operations, multi-million-dollar budgets, and large-scale public programming as the Interim Director & CEO of the Virginia Air & Space Science Center and as Director of Education for the Science Museum of Virginia.
• Workforce & Higher Education: I have spearheaded complex sector analyses for advanced manufacturing and IT pipelines at the community college level and led regional centers tasked with expanding post-secondary career pathways for youth.

Over my career, I have successfully written, secured, and managed more than $30 million in federal, state, and private grant funding (including major NSF grants). I bring this blend of executive vision, ground-level operational knowledge, and policy experience to every client engagement.
